Mandy Conlon is a Northern Virginia local from the Herndon area and graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. While in school, Conlon played on the competitive intramural softball team. Upon graduation, she served as a Varsity Assistant Coach under Dean Ferington at Westfield High School.
Conlon is a 2005 graduate from Oakton High School. She played field hockey and softball for the Cougars and was a four-year Varsity starter, two-year team captain, and two-time team MVP for the softball team. During her time at Oakton, she spent time behind the plate as catcher and also played shortstop, third base, and first base. Conlon was awarded many district and regional honors during her career, but went on to focus on academics in college. Still an active softball player, Conlon plays on many local slowpitch and fastpitch teams and got the chance to play with Team USA and Reese Witherspoon in the movie How Do You Know.
Conlon lives in Arlington with her cat, Rickie, and began her full-time career in marketing with the Washington Nationals, LivingSocial, and most recently, TMP Government.
