Coaching and instructing has been a passion of Meaghan’s to share knowledge of the sport she loves with others. She contributes her love for softball from her family. She started playing baseball with her brother at a young age. She believes that gave her a competitive drive in the game to keep up with him and the guys around him. Meaghan’s mom was always there to support her going to every game she could flying out to travel tournaments and more. Her father was always practicing with her to help her be the best softball player she could be and took her to all her softball lessons.
It is most important for her players and teams to feel confident, supported and happy while playing. She believes that a crucial component of the game of softball is mental, and that practicing and learning essential playing skills are needed in order to build players’ competence in their ability to perform during games. Overall, the focus of her lessons and team practices are improving skills while also encompassing each individual softball player as a whole human.
Just for fun, Meaghan has been playing in slow pitch softball leagues for the past few years. She also values fitness and health and loves running, yoga and weight training. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend, friends, and the family dog, Willie.
